I avoided Sweet N Low because of the cancer rumors related to saccharin.
Equal was ok, but didn't like the taste.
Splenda, Stevia, and the other newer substitutes all taste ok, but to me they have a very chemical-like after taste which I don't care for. Plus they all lack that - for lack of a better word - "zing" - that real sugar has.
I may not be the most nutritional person around, but that's one chemical I stay away from!! Plus, I just can't get around the flavor of it. I figure, if I have to work at acquiring a taste for it, its not worth my time to even eat/drink!
