Smarter Living

Have I mentioned that I am trying to get back into a good, healthy exercise routine? It's tough for me. Not really hopping on the treadmill or lacing up the sneakers, but when I hit about the 17-minute mark, I tend to waiver and want to stop. Is it that I am bored? Is it that I'm running out of energy? I'm not sure. But what helps me push through is a song. An upbeat, get-that-spring in my step, jam-out tune. I have an armband to hold my iPod, but what to put on that workout playlist?
I like all kinds of music, from classical to rap. I dig it all, but obviously, those soothing tunes I love from certain artists just don't hack it when it comes to really getting me going. I've got a few go-tos tunes: some oldies, some newbies...all will put some oomph in your workout!
Adele - Rumor Has It
Jessie J - Price Tag and Do It Like A Dude
Colbie Caillat - Brighter Than The Sun
Nicki Minaj - Super Bass
LMFAO - Sexy and I Know It (the clean version, of course!)
Gorillaz - Feel Good Inc.
Survivor - Eye of The Tiger (yup, the one from Rocky III)
The Go-Gos - Vacation and We've Got The Beat
Vampire Weekend - Bryn and Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa
Black Eyed Peas - Boom Boom Pow
Madonna - Ray Of Light
Taio Cruz - Dynomite
Pitbull - I Know You Want Me
OutKast - Hey Ya!
EMF - Unbelievable
Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch - Good Vibrations
What is on your iPod or music list when you exercise? What song always get you bouncing when it comes on the radio?
