How much do you spend when it comes to gifts? We all have alot birthday parties to go to- what's your budget??

I pretty much mean either. I don't go to adult parties very much, they don't get much from me in general.
But we will be buying my BIL a GC from Borders today. It'll prolly be $25.

My son is almost 3 so the parties he has been to we just get an item the birthday kid wants. Now for my nephew we try to keep it under 50.

It depends on the person really. If it's for my daughter's classmates then I try not to go over $25.

It really depends. for adults in the family we spend $25, for nephews/nieces we spend about $40 each. For my kids' friends I try to spend no more than $20...thank goodness she hasn't gone to too many parties.

We've been going to a ton, lol, that's kinda why it came up...

I don't go over five dollars for anyone. I usually make presents, like cookies or a fruit basket. If I have extra money I will buy something, but it is usually a food type item under five dollars.

My limit for birthdays is $25.00. Depending on who it is. If it's DH, my Mom, Grandma or Grandpa then it's usually $50.00 plus dinner.
