Clothes for Chemo

I have a friend that asked me to start making clothes that are modified for access to the shunt and wondered what everyone thought of this?  So far I've gotten some tops from goodwill and been playing with designs.  Would just sweatshirts be good, long sleeve shirts, or something else?

(I have 2 grandmothers that lost the battle with cancer, my mother has fought and hopefully is cancer free now, and I have several aunts and cousins that have also.  One cousin that is 37 just started treatment.)

Thanks for any advice.

Any type top would be fine as long as it has  easy access to the shunt.

What type top would your friend prefer?

Thank you, she didn't specify just that she really had a tough time finding things to wear. :)

I do not wear special tops for my port. It is easily accessed right below the top right side if my shirt: no turtlenecks or high necked shirts but mostly anything will do.

I think my friends is on the left side about 1.5 to 2 hands width below her shoulder bone.

Do you mean the collarbone? Mine is only about 3" below that so it is very easily accessed. Maybe just button up tops would work for her.
