No, I've never had a professional manicure.

I used to get acrylic nails.... NEVER AGAIN! I do my own manis, usually change polish every few days and remove cuticles 1x a week, file and use oil every night... I'm kind of a germophobe and I like my own polish and tools ONLY ON ME.

No point in paying someone to do what I can do at home.  Plus I have better polishes in my collection LOL.

not very often, if it's a special ocassion I will go in and have them painted really nice. I have had gel tips done once and I hated them.

I used to get French nails twice a year (once a semester) when in college but I haven't had them done in two years.
